UNASGO is an association of sugarcane Growers organizations at mill levels from Uganda. It brings together Kinyara sugarcane Growers ltd, Mukono sugarcane out Growers cooperative society ltd, Busoga sugarcane Growers association for purposes of information sharing and joint lobby for the wellbeing of the sugarcane growers of Uganda. UNASGO was established in October 2006 at the first National conference of sugarcane Growers of Uganda.  The formation of UNASGO was first initiated by the leadership of Kinyara sugarcane Growers ltd who reached out to encouraging the other Growers organizations to come up together for purpose of joint lobby in matters of sugarcane prices, terms of payment, co-generation, ethanol and financing of farm development.
